Logistics management is the component of the supply chain process that plans, implements, and regulates the efficient, effective movement and storage of products, services, and associated information from point of origin to point of consumption in order to fulfil customer needs. Logistic resources such as tanks, pipelines, and ships have the primary goal of facilitating the flow of goods, equipment, and raw materials across operations in order to optimise profitability. The logistic resource configuration is usually used to systems for their dependency and associated product needs and supply. In general, equipment dependability, which has a significant impact on profitability, is not taken into account in logistic model evaluation. In many situations, logistics are also overlooked in RAM analysis. The major topic of discussion in this case study is the significance of incorporating plant reliability concerns and logistic resources, which have a complicated model when combined.
