The "Little Drummer Boy” is a well-known Christmas Carol song composed in 1941. It was composed by the American traditional musician and teacher Katherine Kennicott Davis in 1941. The Trapp Family was the first to record it in 1951. The tune was additionally advocated in 1958 recording, by the Harry Simeone Chorale. The Simeone version was re-released effectively for several years and the song has been recorded commonly around1958. In the verses, the lyricist relates how he was brought by Magi to the Nativity of Jesus. Without a present for the Infant, the little drummer kid played his drum with endorsement from Mary, Jesus' mom, reviewing, “I played my best for him” and “He grinned at me”. The song was initially named “Tune of the Drum” and was distributed by Davis, captioned “Czech hymn unreservedly translated by C.R.W. Robertson”. While hypothesis is also there that the song is not exactly found on the Czech carol.
