At a time when the entire Indian sub-continent was reeling under the rule of the British, the people of Telangana were languishing with no guarantee of minimum human rights or dignity, and many were unhappy with the rule of the Nizams. It was during this era, that Telangana witnessed the birth of three exemplary figures who awakened the people of the region and led them into a better future. These three were none other than Komarraju Lakshmana Rao garu, Madapati Hanumanta Rao garu and Suravaram Pratapa Reddy garu. This 2-part presentation brings to you a biographical sketch of the lawyer, writer, editor and politician, Suravaram Pratap Reddy garu. He was born on 28 May 1896 in the village of Itikalapadu in Mehboobnagar District of Telangana. The Telugu people owe a lot to this man.
