Learning and Organizational Behavior

Presentations | English

Organizational behaviour (OB) is the "study of human behaviour in organizational settings, the interface between human behaviour and the organization, and the organization itself". It describes the behavioural dynamics that occur between groups and individuals in an organizational setting. The four elements of organizational behaviour are people, structure, technology, and the external environment. Learning can be defined as the permanent change in behaviour due to direct and indirect experience. In organizational context, learning means change in behaviour, attitude due to education and training, practice and experience and has impact on the organizational settings. It is completed by acquisition of knowledge and skills, which are relatively permanent. The three main types of learning are classical conditioning, operant conditioning and observational learning. The presentation gives in-depth understanding on learning and organizational behaviour.
