Kerala Sadya is an emotion for Keralites. Palakkad fruit pudding is an indispensable dish in Kerala sadya. A character in the epic Mahabharatha, Bheeman, invented Aviyal, which is an important dish in the Kerala Sadhya. Onam and Vishu are two festivals that are not to be missed except for Kerala Sadya. Kerala Sadya is eaten in a special way with the help of a banana leaf. This traditional dish has fans all over the world. It is usually served with pickles, pink boiled rice, side dishes and desserts at the end.
കേരള സദ്യ എന്നത് കേരളീയരുടെ ഒരു വികാരം ആണ്. പാലക്കാടിലെ പഴം നുറുക്കു എന്ന വിഭവം കേരള സദ്യയിലെ ഒഴിച്ച് കൂടാൻ ആകാത്ത വിഭവം ആണ്. അവിയൽ എന്ന വിഭവം പുരാതന കഥകളിലെ ഭീമൻ എന്ന കഥാപാത്രം കണ്ടുപിടിച്ചു എന്നാണ് ഐതിഹ്യം. കേരള സദ്യ ഒഴിച്ച് കൂടാൻ ആകാത്ത രണ്ടു ആഘോഷങ്ങൾ ആണ് ഓണവും വിഷുവും. വാഴയിലയിൽ വിഭവങ്ങൾ നിരത്തി വച്ച ഒരു പ്രതേക രീതിയിൽ ആണ് കേരള സദ്യ കഴിക്കുന്നത്. ലോകമെമ്പാടും ആരാധകർ ഉണ്ട് ഈ പാരമ്പരാഗത വിഭവത്തിന്.
