“Nuclear weapons aren’t much of a threat, today; compared to families of the world, going nuclear.” The nuclear family has long been a solid social basis on which individuals could coexist peacefully despite their differences, conflicts, and even joy and happiness. In addition, people reared in a mixed family are thought to have a stronger feeling of belonging and connection than those raised in a nuclear family. Even if living in a joint family has its advantages, newlyweds in the current era are confronted with the dilemma of whether to start a nuclear family or remain in their existing one. This is a frequent issue, so don't worry about it. As people choose to remain with their immediate family, i.e., their spouse and children, joint families have broken apart into nuclear families. Older daughters-in-law no longer help the new ones in their culinary endeavours while the fathers engage in a game with the kids or between themselves. The eldest member of a shared family makes decisions that affect everyone else. And this is one of the primary reasons why people are choosing to live an autonomous life together instead of getting married. While having a large family provides you a sense of security, it also takes away your freedom.
