Jogulamba Gadwal is one of the 33 districts in the state of Telangana. It contains as its name two famous features of the district — the Jogulamba temple and the Gadwal town which is famous for its handloom sarees. It is the only district in the state that has the Tungabhadra River flowing through it. It also has the Krishna River making its way in and out of the district.
