A law is a set of rules and a code of conduct established by the government or even a group of people, organisations, or societies in a particular region. It is applied to everyone who lives in that particular territory, where they are governed by a set of practises that are used and overseen by an authoritative entity to keep everyone in harmony and peace. People would be unable to distinguish between what is and is not acceptable in society if laws and guidelines were not properly implemented. This could cause widespread unrest among people and communities. Setting a standard for all behaviours is required on several levels.
