Although known to the world as Sundar Pichai, he was born Pichai Sundararajan, on the 10th of June, 1972 in the city of Madras in Tamil Nadu, India. A business executive by profession, he is the CEO of Google, since the year 2015. After earning a degree in metallurgical engineering from IIT Kharagpur, he migrated to the United States where he successfully completed his masters in materials science and engineering from Stanford and later did his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Sundar Pichai was able to effectively showcase his talents a few years into his career. After working at McKinsey & Co., he joined Google, where he was responsible for a number of the most major functions in the industry. Pichai joined the Alphabet Board of Directors in the year 2017.
