"Arun Jaitley was an Indian politician and attorney. As a member of the BJP, he served as the Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs of the Government of India from the year 2014 to 2019. Born on the 28th of December, 1952 to a lawyer and a homemaker, Arun Jaitley was always an active child. After completing his schooling at St. Xavier’s school in Delhi, he pursued commerce at the Shri Ram College of Commerce in Delhi too. It was after this that he completed his LLB from the University of Delhi in the year 1977. Even during his college days, Jaitley used to be elected president of the union and were also given other positions of authority or leadership. Jaitley was awarded the prestigious Padma Vibhushan award posthumously in 2020, for his excellency in the field of public affairs. "
