Yoga is included in major health organisation's official fitness guidelines, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as a technique to increase strength. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, frequent yoga practice reduces anxiety and stress and may help with arthritis, asthma, depression, diabetes, epilepsy, heart disease, and irritable bowel syndrome symptoms. Yoga may help you live a healthier life at any age. When children begin practicing yoga at an early age, they are laying the basis for a lifetime of fitness.
