The epidemic of Covid has not only affected public life but also the economic status and stock markets. The consequences of the spread of disease was shutting down of the world which resulted in unemployment, reduced salary, hindrance of transportation facilities and manufacturing industries. The most significant economic impact was the reduced productivity due to increase in loss of life. Many businesses came to an end and even the income from tourism was declined. Millions of people were at the verge of extreme poverty, as they were unable to feed their family without a proper salary. Most of the countries, mainly the developing countries were in recession. The winners were the pharmaceuticals who faced a high increase in their market. Online shopping affected the stores so badly. Also travel industry was affected with a financial drop.
