Andhra Pradesh and Telanagana have for centuries been centres of various handicrafts. From things of everyday use like reed baskets and mats to exotic stuff like brass and zinc pots, inlaid work, and wooden toys, this presentation gives a brief introduction to the most popular of handicrafts from the Telugu States. Amongst those listed in here are the wooden toys of Kondapalli, Etikoppaka and Nirmal, the handloom industry that creates cotton, silk and jute cloth, various stoneworks, metal works, and paintings from the two states.
