No matter where we are, the world is at our fingertips and with a click of a button, we become global citizens. It is not just the food culture that is being westernized but the entire cultural, technological and social affiliations have become modernized with a call for multiculturalism and universality growing in number. Just like another process, globalization has its pros and cons. Amidst the western fantasy, indigenous culture is marginalized. The upside to this is an opportunity for the East-west confluence that could make both sides happier. The younger generations herald the changes quickly with a yearning for more innovation. Flipkart, Amazon, Walmart and others have made their inroads to every region in the world.
