Global warming is a familiar term but we are not still aware about this phenomenon. It is gradual heating of Earth's atmosphere caused by human activities like burning of fossil fuels which results in emission of carbon dioxide and greenhouse gases. The immediate effect is temperature rise around the world. Causes like volcanic eruption is also a means to release tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. But use of automobiles and increased fossil fuel burning is the major cause. Researchers agree with the fact that rising temperature can cause more droughts, heavier rainfall and powerful hurricanes. Disappearing glaciers and sea level rising are impacts of climate change on US. The fact is that everyone is affected by climate change but not equally. Animals may extinct due to loss of habitat.
