"Imagine you are traveling down a route for the first time. There is heavy traffic and vehicles are barely moving but thankfully, you notice a road conjoined to the one you are in and you are tempted to take that route so that you can save time and get away from the trouble but the issue is that you do not know how to make use of this route to get where you want to. Nevertheless, you make a quick turn, and go down that route. The GPS or the Global Positioning System is a radio navigation system. Originally a satellite-based system, it consists of a huge number of satellites transmitting and broadcasting navigation signations. These satellites are positioned so that they circle the Earth. These signals are caught by ground stations and satellite control stations, where they are controlled and supervise. This is just the beginning; watch the PPT to know about the Global Positioning System and its applications.
