Bhogaraju Pattabhi Sitaramaiah, a pioneer of the independence movement who embarked on innovative chapters in the Indian system of economic and political education was born in 1820. He was a freedom fighter, President of the Indian National Congress and founder of the Andhra Bank. Influenced by Gandhiji during the Indian National Movement, Sitaramaiah joined the movement and eventually occupied a prominent position in the Congress. Sitaramaiah, who rendered many memorable services to the Telugu language and the Telugu people, passed away on December 17, 1959. Catch a glimpse of the man and his great works in this presentation.
