Every year, during the start of the rainy season in Hyderabad, the Bathini family sets up their stalls in a huge public space. Thousands of people from across the country flock to this place. The reason: to be administered a medicine given for free by the Bathini family. The medicine, considered a great cure for asthma, is popularly known as the Fish Medicine, as it is administered through a tiny live fish. The formula for the medicine was supposedly given to this family about four generations ago, and to this day remains a closely guarded secret that they are not supposed to divulge to any outsider. చేప ప్రసాదం లేదా చేప మందు అనేది ఉబ్బసం వ్యాధిని నివారించుటకు ప్రతి సంవత్సరం మృగశిర కార్తె రోజున బత్తిని సోదరులు పంపిణీ చేసే మందు. తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర రాజధాని హైదరాబాద్ నగరంలో ఈ చేపప్రసాదం ను దాదాపుగా 175 సంవత్సరాల నుండి ఈ చేప మందును బత్తిని కుటుంబ సభ్యులు ఉచితంగా వితరణ చేస్తున్నారు. వీరికి, అనగా వీరి కుటుంబానికి, ఈ మందు రహస్యాన్ని నాలుగు తరాల ముందు ఒక సాధువు ఇచ్చారని చెప్తారు. చేప మందు గురించి మరిన్ని ఆసక్తికరమైన విశేషాలు ఈ ప్రదర్శనలో ఇవ్వడం జరిగింది. చదివి ఆనందించగలరు.
