Recruiting is one of the primary functions of an HR department and its one of the most crucial steps, which has a long term impact on the success of any enterprise. It refers to the overall process of identifying, attracting, screening, shortlisting and interviewing candidates for jobs within an organization. The recruitment function of the organization is directly or indirectly affected by a mix of various internal and external factors. The internal factors are those components inside the organisation that impact the recruitment. They are size of the organization, recruiting policies, image of the organisation, work type, company’s product and so on. The external factors are those which cannot be controlled by the organization and they are demographic factors, socio- political factors, unemployment rate, competitors and so on.
