Any idea about what kind of magical relationship exists between our planet and its environment? The Earth and environment seek to understand the planet on which we live and our relationship to it. Environmental science is important to all of us because we have no ‘Planet B’ to inhabit. We must understand the processes of the natural world in which we live and use its resources wisely in order to sustain life on Earth. It is important because it enables you to understand how these relationships work. For example, humans breathe out carbon dioxide which plants need for photosynthesis. Plants, on the other hand, produce and release oxygen to the atmosphere, which humans need for respiration. Environment studies is all about learning the way we should live and how we can develop sustainable strategies to protect the environment. It helps individuals to develop an understanding of living and physical environment and how to resolve challenging environmental issues affecting nature. We can learn how and why Earth's climate has changed in the past and use that knowledge to understand both natural and human-caused climate change.
