Duravastha is one of the longest poems of the famous poet of Malayalam, Mahakavi Kumaranasan. This poem is mainly based on the Malabar Rebellion of 1921. It explains the struggles faced by the Hindus at that time. There were mass protests against the poem from several other communities after it was published in 1922.
