In management, direction and coordination are not the same. Effective coordination plays an important role in result oriented planning and execution. Staffing, organising and planning are its components. Direction is the key in management. Supervision, motivation, leadership and communication are its aspects. All these are interconnected. Keeping the whole team motivated requires leadership skills. Sense of being supervised may adversely affect some people. This makes effective and proper communication vital in a business environment.
