Some people dream of the idealistic days gone past, while others love the new days of technology. It doesn’t matter which camp you fall into, there are certain things that were simply better or worse 50 years ago. Now there are significant development of technologies, there are cars which drive themselves, a vehicle in every one's house and a smart phone in every one's hand. From the legal point of view tremendous changes have taken place, even same sex couples can get into legally married contracts. 5o years ago it was easy to find people face to face and spend time with them while today we are confined to our digital devices. It was less expensive to see a film and to purchase a house. The standard of living is much higher today than it was 50 years ago. We have much better facilities now, such as good hospitals, roads and schools. Some elements of our lives have not benefitted from technological advancement. In reality, certain things were better 50 years ago and are today more difficult, costly, and hazardous to perform.
