Health is not an Expense, it is an Investment. Health, according to the World Health Organization, is "a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity." Health is a positive concept emphasizing social and personal resources, as well as physical capacities. A healthy diet is a diet that helps maintain or improve overall health. A healthy diet provides the body with essential nutrition: fluid, macronutrients, micronutrients, and adequate food energy. A healthy diet is essential for good health and nutrition. It protects you against many chronic non-communicable diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. Eating a variety of foods and consuming less salt, sugars, and saturated and industrially-produced trans-fats, are essential for a healthy diet. Healthy foods help us in weight management. Makes us agile and increases our productivity. Decreases the number of doctor visits by lowering the risk of heart diseases, stroke, diabetes mellitus, poor bone density, and some cancers, etc.
