When one speaks of sarees from the Andhra Pradesh or Telangana, two names that definitely pop up are Dharmavaram and Gadwal. A wedding trousseau definitely includes at least one of these exquisite varieties of handloom sarees, both available in silk and cotton. Named after the villages in whcih they are manufactured, Dharmavaram is from the Anantapur District in Andhra Pradesh, and Gadwal is from Jogulamba Gadwal District in Telangana.
