"Parallelism is a technique used mainly to execute queries with speed and hence improve performance. This cover up all the operations like data loading, transforming, executing etc. Hence data consistency, system performance, multiple data source usage and multiple system memory usage is achieved. There are mainly four types interquery, independent, pipelined and intraoperative parallelism. The interquery have different transactions running in parallel, supports more number of execution per second. Therefore, efficiency is achieved by handling more client requests in least time. Intraquery have ability to break single query into multiple sub tasks and they are allowed to run in different processors. This is useful where decisions are to be made. Pipelined concept is all about using the output from previous and given as input to next stage. Interoperative parallelism is when a single operator given in a query works, it paralyzes the execution of individual query. The topic can be understood from the presentation.
