The beauty of the world lies in the diversity of its people Cultural diversity is about appreciating that society is made up of many different groups with different interests, skills, talents and needs. Our India is the best-known example for culture diversity. If we consider Kerala also, there is a wide variety of persons with different cultural back ground, different tastes, different attitude but together makes a unity in diversity. In the life style, in the food they have, in the dress they were people may be different, but when the cultural heritage is concerned all are the sons of the same mother, that is India. We are worshipping different Gods, we have different styles of life, but we are together and we are unique. That is what binds together. This unseen binding force is called culture. The unseen force has lot of power as it is seen powerful in the life striking situations which we have witness so far especially during flood and other environmental issues.
