No matter how much of a hypochondriac we are, humans are vulnerable and susceptible to diseases and ailments. The reason: microorganisms. These single called, micro-sized organisms that come in different shapes and sizes have ironically stopped the world as in the ongoing covid crises. Controlling these organisms is not as easy as it sounds. Physical and chemical agents can be interchangeably used to eradicate the growth of these organisms. Methods like sterilization, radiation, interaction disinfection are some of the multitudinous modes of extermination. If these invasive organisms thrive in our body, then antibiotics and drugs are employed to eliminate them in a phased manner. Complete annihilation is impossible as not all of these organisms are detrimental to us. Some of them grow inside us in a symbiotic manner and readily helps us in proper digestion and other bodily mechanisms. Decontamination, isolation and sanitation are the rudimentary measures prescribed to the public. As the saying goes: Cleanliness comes next to godliness, let us all try to control the geometrical growth of microorganisms that could potentially harm the rest of the world.
