Food safety begins from where it is sourced, how manufactured or prepared, the mode of storage and finally selling process. With increased globalisation, the demand for food products are increasing day by day. Hence, the process of manufacturing high production and distribution with safety compliance is a very serious matter. Each country have different regulatory body for enforcing standard of safe food occupancy for all. Food safety laws are assigned mainly based on two concepts, HACCP and GMP. The Hazards Analysis and Critical Control Points is used mainly to identify food safety issues before it arrives, rather than an afterwards inspection. Goods Manufacturing Practices are worldwide recognised QA guidelines for food production. Internationally known food certification and safety organisation programs include: The IFS Food Standard, Safe Quality Food Institute, International Organisation for Standardisation and so on.
