Computer Organization and Architecture deals with how operational characteristics are linked together to meet the requirements specified by computer architecture. Some organizational attributes are hardware details, control signals and peripherals. COA is one of the most important and comprehensive subject that includes many foundational concepts and knowledge used in the design of a computer system. Computer architecture deals with the design of computers, data storage devices and networking components that store and run programs, transmit data, and drive interactions between computers, across networks and with users. Computer Organization is the realization of what is specified by the computer architecture. Examples of organization attributes include those hardware details transparent to the programmer such as control signals, interfaces between the computer and peripherals and the memory technology used. As an example, on is an architectural design issue whether a computer will have a multiply instructions.
