The 8th chapter of the Bhagavad Gita is titled as the ‘Aksara–Brahma yoga’ or the ‘Path of Eternal God’, Lord Krishna describes his Eternal Self and speaks of the deluded seeking profit for ‘karma or action and the wise seeking the God, all while also knowing the Adhyatma, Karma, Adhibhuta, Adhidaiva and Adhiyajna. Lord Krishna also reveals the importance of the last thought an individual has before death and further states that if they can think of Him at the time of death, they will surely attain him. By saying so he states that the constant awareness of the Ultimate Entity is immensely essential. Only through constant devotion can someone attain Him and leave the material world. This chapter speaks about the importance of the Ultimate Power and its imperishable nature.
