The 6th chapter in the Bhagavad Gita is called the 'Dhyana Yoga' or the 'The path of Meditation'. Doing meditation keeps the mind and body calm and and trains it to not think about unnecessary things. Similarly, in this chapter, Lord Krishna introduces the Yoga of Meditation to Arjuna and tells him how to follow the Yoga. The chapter begins with Lord Krishna explaining that a yogi who is a new at being a yogi would sit in complex yoga positions while the experienced yogi would work without any attachment. The experienced yogi is thus the 'sanyasi' in the true sense. He thus describes the significance of action in meditation. He further explains about the different difficulties that one may face while practicing to control their mind and also describes the method to conquer it as well and hence focus on the Paramatma.
