"Samkhya Yoga" is the title of the Bhagavadgita's second chapter. Number is referred to as Samkhya or Sankhya. Yoga is the Sanskrit word for togetherness. The term "Samkhya Yoga" refers to the unification of numbers. The figures refer to the number of realities (tattvas) that exist in the universe. The union or combination of a number of hidden realities that express the existential reality is the subject of Samkhya Yoga. The Samkhya Philosophy is one of the six schools (Darshanas) of Hinduism, according to those who are conversant with Indian philosophy. Kapila is supposed to have founded it, and Isvara Krishna (6th Century AD) expanded it in his work, the Samkhya Karika. Individual souls and Prakriti are two eternal realities identified by the old Samkhya theory (Nature). Individual souls are infinite, indivisible, unbreakable, and countless. Prakriti is a singular, divisible, and mutable entity. It is subdivided further into several finite realities (tattvas), which mix in diverse permutations and combinations to form the diversity of worlds, beings, and objects.
