E-commerce refers to a wide range of commercial activities carried out online using electronic processing and data transmission, including text, images, audio, video, and other media. In other terms, e-commerce is a business strategy that enables businesses or individuals to do transactions through the internet. Business-to-Business (B2B), Business-to-Consumer (B2C), Consumer-to-Consumer (C2C), Consumer-to-Business (C2B), Business-to-Administration (B2A), and Consumer-to-Administration (C2A) are the six primary forms of e-commerce, and each represents a distinct purchasing dynamic. B2B e-commerce refers to all electronic goods and sales transactions that take place between two businesses. B2C e-commerce, perhaps the most widespread type of e-commerce, involves electronic business ties between firms and customers. Consumer-to-consumer (C2C) e-commerce refers to all electronic transactions between consumers. C2B e-commerce is when a consumer makes their services or products available for purchase by businesses.
