CBSE - Science - Class 09 - Gravitation - Part 2 “Gravitation” is the 10th chapter in the NCERT science textbook of standard IX. An object dropped from a height falls towards the earth; all the planets go around the Sun and the moon goes around the earth. In all these cases, there must be some force acting on the objects, on the planets and on the moon. Isaac Newton could grasp that the same force is responsible for all these. This force is called the gravitational force. Let’s learn about gravitation in this two-part series. Please go through the ppt to understand more about, • Free fall • Calculating the value of g • Motion of objects under the influence of gravitational force of the earth • Mass • Weight • Weight of an object on the moon To learn this topic completely download this PPT and ‘Gravitation Part – 2’ to do well in your exams.
