"Biofertilizers are substances containing live microorganisms, like bacteria, algae, fungi or more, which when applied to plants or the soil gives it enhanced fertility. They help in boosting plant and soil nutrition by assisting in making more nutrients available to the soil. Several different kinds of beneficial bacteria and fungi are used to make biofertilizers due to the fact that they help in effectively colonizing the rhizosphere or the root interior. They thus help in enriching the quality of the soil in itself so that the plant can provide more fruitful results. The types of biofertilizers are innumerable. There is azolla, azospirillum, AM fungi, and the most commonly used and recognised one, rhizobium. What are we waiting for now? Let’s head right in!"
