Organic compounds are all around us. Organic chemicals make up at least a portion of many contemporary materials. They're essential for economic development and are at the heart of biochemistry, biotechnology, and medicine. The phrase "organic chemistry" was developed in 1806 by Swedish scientist Jöns Jakob Berzelius, and it was confined to chemicals that could be made by living creatures in the early nineteenth century. Organic compounds can be found in agrichemicals, coatings, cosmetics, detergent, dyestuff, food, fuel, petrochemicals, medicines, plastics, and rubber, to name a few. Organic chemistry is used in the majority of consumer items. Take, for example, the cosmetics sector. Organic chemistry investigates how the skin reacts to metabolic and environmental variables, and chemists create treatments to address these issues.
