Do you want to learn more about the anatomy of the nose? Anatomy is a branch of biology concerned with the identification and description of living things' body structures. The nasal cavity is the large internal space of the nose that is divided into two sections: the nasal vestibule and the nasal cavity proper. The nostrils are two holes in the nose. The septum is a wall that separates the nostrils and nasal passages (say: SEP-tum). Your septum is made of very thin bone pieces deep inside your nose, close to your skull. Nasal turbinates are long, narrow passageways that aid in warming and moistening the air that passes through the nose. Please see this ppt for more information.
