Morphology is a branch of biology. Anatomy is subdivision of morphology. Morphology studies the relationships of structures and anatomy studies the presence of structures. Collective structures of an organism is called Gross morphology. Human anatomy is an example of anatomy. It studies human body parts and their internal structures. Morphology deals with the internal and outward appearance of an organism. The medical definition of morphology is "the science of structure and form of organisms without regard to function”. Morphology helps to learn the external features of an individual including size, shape and structure. Please read the presentation for more details.
