Ambalappuzha Sree Krishnaswami Kshethram is dedicated to Lord Krishna situated at Ambalappuzha in Allappey district of Kerala. This temple is considered to be one of the ancient temples of Travancore. The temple is build following Kerala style traditional architectural pattern. The sweet pudding made of milk, rice and sugar named Pal Payasam is offered to the deity and served to people. The festival takes places during March-April on Thiruvonam Day.
കേരളത്തിലെ ആലപ്പുഴ ജില്ലയിലെ അമ്പലപ്പുഴയിലാണ് അമ്പലപ്പുഴ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണസ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. തിരുവിതാംകൂറിലെ പുരാതന ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നായാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്. കേരളീയ ശൈലിയിലുള്ള പരമ്പരാഗത വാസ്തുവിദ്യാ രീതിയിലാണ് ക്ഷേത്രം നിർമ്മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. പാലും അരിയും പഞ്ചസാരയും ചേർത്തുണ്ടാക്കുന്ന പാല് പായസം ദേവന് സമർപ്പിച്ച് ആളുകൾക്ക് വിളമ്പുന്നു. മാർച്ച്-ഏപ്രിൽ മാസങ്ങളിൽ തിരുവോണ നാളിലാണ് ഉത്സവം നടക്കുന്നത്.
