"The sixty seventh chapter or Surah is titled Al-Mulk or ""Dominion/Sovereignty"". The title is derived from the very first verse itself. It comprises a total 30 verses (ayah) which are then divided into 2 Rukus or Sections. The Surah was revealed in Mecca and the time of revelation is believed to have been during the earlier days of Muhammad's proclamation of his prophethood. The subject dealt with in Surah Al-Mulk is about how an individual in no way can or must impose one's own will on anybody else. What one can do is, set an example for everybody else. It speaks about the Supremacy who is God and also about the various beautiful creations of His too. It is mentioned that the entire universe belongs to the Supreme power and that it is He who controls everything, from the individuals to the entire world."
