"The 111th chapter or Surah in the Holy Book of Quran is titled Al-Masadd or ""Palm Fiber"". The chapter is known by another title as well, which is Al-Lahab or ""The Flame"". Both the title names were derived from the first verse and the fifth verse in the Surah, respectively. It only consists of a total of 5 verses (ayah). The chapter is believed to have made its revelation in Mecca, during the later period of Muhammad's preaching. It was also the time period when the persecution had just begun it's course. The chapter discusses the consequence a relative of Prophet Muhammad's faced as he rejected and went against his idea and thereligion of Islam.
