"The eighty ninth chapter or Surah in the Holy Book of Quran is titled Al-Fajr or "" The Dawn"". The title name was derived from the very first verse in the Surah, where there is a mention of the word ‘Fajr, and it consists of a total of 30 verses (ayah). The chapter is believed to have made its revelation in Mecca, during the period of Muhammad's preaching. It was also the time period when the persecution had just begun its course. The 89th has its most elementary subject of discussion as it begins with an Oath, the Oath of four things, which are The Dawn, Ten nights, Even and Odd and The Night when it passes.
