"Most of us take flying for granted. When we board an aircraft, we hardly realize we are boarding a machine comprising thousands of parts, and our safe flight depends on these numerous parts functioning to perfection. Regular aircraft maintenance is critical to the safe operation of any aircraft. For achieving this all airlines are required to scrupulously inspect and maintain their aircraft according to an approved maintenance schedule. The maintenance schedule includes the routine “Line Maintenance” checks as well as more comprehensive A, B, C and D checks. With all checks done promptly, an aircraft safely flies up to 30 years.
