Air cargo operations have become more important than ever before after the onset of Covid in early 2020. While passenger flights almost came to a stand still in the first half of 2020 after Covid struck, it was the air cargo operations which sustained the global economy. It is important to note that most countries had much fewer restrictions for operation of air cargo flights compared to passenger flights even before Covid times and the situation has remained virtually unchanged till now. And once vaccines to combat Covid were developed, the importance of air cargo flights became more evident than ever with air cargo's biggest advantage, "Speed" getting highlighted. There are various types of cargo airlines. There is cargo carried on various passenger flights while some airlines operate all-cargo flights using dedicated freighter aircraft.
