Historically, Andhra Pradesh has been called 'Rice Bowl of India'. Apart from rice many other crops are grown in the two Telugu states. Sugarcane, mangoes, many kinds of vegetables and pulses and sunflowers are only few of them. It is also famous for aqua products, having an extensive coastline. In the second part on this six-part series, we present to you some more information on the types of soil in the two states. Apart from this, details of animal husbandry, aquaculture and farmer festivals.
