Voice, mood, tense, person, and number are the five attributes of verbs in English grammar. Voice is the part of a verb that indicates when a subject performs an action or is the object of an action. The two grammatical voices are active and passive. When the subject performs the action, the active voice is employed; when the subject is the recipient of the action, the passive voice is used. View this PPT to learn more about the active voice and passive voice.
