These days the word acid doesn't give a positive image. Many people especially girls are victims of acid attacks. All acids are useful in their own ways. Unfortunately few attacks made us scared of acids. Ants produce an acid called formic acid while they bite. This causes pain. Acid is a compound. There are two types of acid, organic and inorganic. Sulphuric Acid is called the King of Chemicals because of its strength. Acids have advantages and disadvantages. Acid rain have disadvantages only. Fumes and smokes from vehicles and factories contain oxides of nitrogen and sulphur. These reach atmosphere and combines with clouds and form acids. This causes acid rain. Acid rain is the main cause of the colour fading of Taj Mahal. Please refer the presentation for details.
