John Kotter was a famous leadership and change management professor at Harvard Business School. In 1995, he introduced the 8-Step Change Model in his book, “Leading Change”. The model is based on the work of Kurt Lewin and explains 8 key steps of the changes process. Creating urgency, forming powerful guiding coalitions, developing a vision and a strategy, etc. are a few of the 8 key steps of the change process. It states that if any of the steps are neglected it will cause a fall.
